Mason gives a big shout out to his Aunt Trish (a frequent visitor to the keim-web.com photo galleries). She was the first person to become a registered user of the site.
Of course, I should probably also mention that she is still the only person who has registered as a user. The new format for the site may seem a little intimidating at first but there are some easy ways to get around . . .
If you have the Macromedia Flash plugin installed (most Windows computers do) you will see a button bar across the top of the page. “News” takes you to the front news page. “Photos” takes you to the photo galleries. “Calendar” takes you to the keim-web.com event calendar (where you can submit your own events). “Guestbook” takes you to the new guestbook. “Submit News” allows you to submit your own news which will appear on the front page (pending approval). And, “Login” allows you to register as a new user and/or login.
The Menu on the left side of the screen will also get you to most of these same places but it adds few more options. Take a look around and let us know what you think.
Mason’s Holiday Tour 2001 took on the cities of Grand Island, Davenport, and York . . .
Thanksgiving Day was spent at Grandpa and Grandma Ehresman’s in Grand Island. Though suffering from a cold and some teething pain, Mason managed to entertain his cousins and other family members by showing off his growing vocabulary.
Friday Mason spent most of his afternoon sleeping—in fact sleeping through the Nebraska – Colorado game. No one was about to wake him up for that thrashing.
Saturday and Sunday he spent at Grandpa and Grandma Keim’s house in Davenport. His Aunt Kathy brought her black Belgium Sheep-Dog, named Shane, back to visit with her. Grandpa renamed Shane, Snowball. Mason renamed Shane, Big Dog. Aside from going to York to “Chances R” to celebrate Grandpa and Grandma Keim’s 45th Anniversary, the highlight for Mason was playing with all the cats on the farm.
After another Thanksgiving meal in Davenport on Sunday, where he played with more of his cousins, Mason returned home Sunday evening at 5:00.
While the trip had been a lot of fun, Mason was excited to see his cat, Lucky, and spent quite awhile wrestling with him before going to bed.
