Peanut Butter Sugar Cookies

Christi and I each tried an Archway sugar cookie tonight hoping that they would be as good as the Archway molasses cookies. They weren’t. It got me thinking, though, that Grandma Keim’s sugar cookies with the peanut butter frosting sure sound good right now.

Anyone have the recipe? I think the last time Aunt M. gave it to us we must have misplaced it.

Website Updates!

Trish emailed me this weekend and told me she had a little trouble getting around on the web site. The biggest problem being that the text was too small. So, I’ve added an additional site design . . .

To see it you must register and/or logon and then select “Your Account” in the Menu at the left. A page will appear that lets change some of the settings in your account. Click on “Select Theme” and you will be given the option of selecting one of two themes from a drop-down box. Select “Keimweb_Basic” and then press “Save Changes.” It will take a second to update but then you will see a more basic interface. Not only will it be bigger but it should also load faster because it uses fewer images.

Just another benefit of becoming a registered user! Your new theme will show up each time you log on.

Showing at the Rococo

The other day I had the opportunity to visit a new establishment here in Lincoln. It’s called the Rococo and it is hard to describe. Part bar, par lounge, part theatre.

It’s really very unique. I put a link up to the home page for it in the weblinks area. Otherwise go visit it here. Click on the tour button on the left to see the pictures. Then, when you are in Lincoln sometime, be sure to visit it in person. Formerly the old Stuart theatre, it has been restored to its early grandeur.

The Adventures of Grandpa Joe’s Bag

When Christi and I took off for Colorado a couple weeks ago, the Grandparents came to stay with Mason. My father had the misfortune of leaving his black bag next to our luggage in the entry way the morning we were packing.

It looked like the rest of our luggage. Being the kind of people who make lemonade when given lemons we made the most it. In the photos area you will find a photo documentary of the travels of Joe’s luggage.
