The most recent snow storm kept us stranded at our house for a couple days. The snow was heavy but it was also the best kind of snow for building a snow fort—very easy to compact. Click on the picture below for more photos.

Unfortunately, the fort didn’t last long. It’s spring break for most school age children here in Lincoln. I guess some kids couldn’t resist “playing” on this snow fort. Two of the walls were knocked down. I told Mason we would have to build it in the back yard next year and he said, “Yes, but we better make sure we pick up the dog poop first.” Good plan.
